When we first talked to the single mother she was living in a rental property the insurance company was paying for. Repairs were under way at her home about 3 miles away. The contractor was onsite doing demolition work after the fire and had already been there for several months. Tear out was still not complete and the work that had been done was not to her satisfaction. She was being told that her insurance would not approve of certain items in need of repair, and she was worried that the slow work by the contractor was using up precious dollars of claim money. What would you do? When a situation gets to this point it is very difficult to unravel, pull back on track, and try to make right. In this case we got her the help she needed and started moving in the right direction. Being back home feels great.
